West African Resources Produces 57,000 Gold Ounces in Q1

West African Resources (ASX:WAF) produced 56,595 gold ounces at an all-in sustaining cost of $1,291 per ounce in the first quarter, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange. The mining firm sold 49,509 gold ounces at an all-in sustaining cost of $2,078 per ounce during the quarter, the filing added. Shares of West African Resources inched up 2% in recent trade.
